EUREKA, is a comprehensive Career Information system software that was developed specifically for the state of California. The EUREKA system is available to CSUF students in the Career Center computer lab.

The EUREKA database is divided into three sections to assist you in your exploration:

The Self- Assessment Section: Provides students the opportunity to learn more about themselves to better assist them in selecting a major and a career that is well aligned with their interests and skills. Both inventories offered in this section provide users with a list of occupations that relate to their self-selected skills or interests:

The Careers Section: Provides students with a wealth of occupation and career related information. In this section students can learn more about the following:

• Occupations, including those related to a major
• Career paths
• Job search
• Specific industry information
• Salary information and much more

The Education Section: Helps students learn more about educational and financial aid resources. In this section student can learn more about the following:

• Majors/Programs of study, including related common occupations
• Short/Term Training
• Graduate School Information
• Financial Aid
• Scholarship Information
