| Biography: |
Gerard Beenen holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Theory from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. He also has an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and an M.A. from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. His research focuses on understanding managerial skill development, especially in the context of high-impact, short-term work assignments. As a Management Professor at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), he teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Team Leadership, and Organizational Change. He also is an affiliate of the Center for Leadership at CSUF, and an advisor for Ethix.org. His research has been published in Human Resource Management, Academy of Management Learning and Education, and the Journal of Computer Mediated Communication.
