Event Description
The artists showing here today explore a pop art approach to common objects designed for convenience in our fast-paced lifestyle. Drawing inspiration from ordinary objects these artists illustrate ideas of waste, laziness, anxiety, and branding. The artists participating in What’s the Rush? put a larger-than-life focus on side effects of our culture. Featured artists include Susan Jane Velton, Derek Buckner, Chris Jordan, Kevin Landers, Henriette Sonne, Maya Sutter and Chris Wright.
